Position: Press Brake Operator

D.R. Tech Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Press Brake Operator. This critical role is integral to our operations, requiring a candidate with a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, and exceptional problem-solving abilities. D.R. Tech Inc., located in Grantsburg, WI, is a custom metal fabrication shop that specializes in building equipment for the food and dairy industry.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate press brake machine to bend, fold, and shape stainless steel components according to engineering specifications.
- Set up and operate sheet metal roller to form stainless steel according to specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to ensure accurate production.
- Monitor machine operations, adjusting as needed to maintain product quality.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Operate forklift and various power tools safely and effectively.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a press brake or metal rolling operator.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with CNC machinery and programming.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of metal fabrication processes.
