D.R. Tech’s EZ Whey Vertical Filler was developed primarily for the whey removal, preforming, and prepressing / initial knitting of hard and semi-hard Italian type cheeses. The EZ Whey Vertical Filler not only removes the need for finishing tables and the labor associated with this hooping process, but we believe that the means by which we handle the curd is physically correct while producing near identical size loafs of Parmesan, Romano, Asiago, and any other style cheese that you may want to process through the EZ Whey Vertical Filler. The EZ Whey Vertical Filler allows the producer the options of producing a tight knit style cheese as well as an open knit type of cheese with minimal changeover of the equipment. D.R. Tech also provides the option of whey segregation for the purpose of “pre-salting” within the EZ Whey Vertical Filler to produce a more evenly dosed salt saturation and reducing your brine times if this is desired.
